David is an angel investor who invests both personally and from his family office fund. David completed the YC of General Partner training and graduated from Plexo Capital’s GPx (first cohort). After GPx, David created Satya.vc.
David’s investment ethos revolves around early-stage founders with an emphasis on preventing founder burnout. Having built in the venture cycle himself and mentored hundreds of founders, David has watched burnout emerge as a standard theme. At Satya.vc, David is dedicated to helping founders sustainably build by maintaining physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. Wellbeing is a core elements of the Future Stack.
Over the last decade in Silicon Valley, David has served as an advisor and mentor to 500 Startups, A16z’s TxO Fund, and YC. His portfolio companies include Creation.Space, The Well, Surge.ai, MetaGoons, Drop Party (acquired), Veracity Protocol, Sugardoh, 8 Myles, Mirza, Breakr, Create/OS, Pamper, Wake, Alkeme, among many others. In addition, David is a high-performance coach for founders and leaders.
